The Puente Project is a nationally recognized program aimed at increasing the number of educationally disadvantaged students who enroll in four-year colleges or universities after completing their studies at Pasadena City College. It provides mentoring by faculty members, English instruction emphasizing Latino literature and culture, as well as counseling services focused on academic success and transfer readiness.
