The GHSA is a partnership launched in 2014 with the aim of enhancing global capabilities to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats. Led by the Department of State along with other agencies, it promotes collaboration among nations to strengthen health systems and better prepare for outbreaks or pandemics.
